Pokemon Leaf Green Nuzlocke Let's Play! Part 8: Luxury My Anne!

Welcome back for part eight of Let's Play Pokemon Leaf Green, Nuzlocke mode! In the last episode, we made our way towards Vermilion City, and today we will be exploring the S.S. Anne, where many trainers await defeat by our hand! We'll also run into a familiar face. So no on no with the LP!

Okay, I did a lot of grinding before this part since we got two new members, so they're leveled up. Meowth also managed to Pick Up a Rare Candy, which I think I gave to Gyarados. So I'll go ahead and show you guys the party at this point.



So yeah, not a bad party so far. Spearow evolving was also nice.

Now onto the S.S. Anne!

It's almost funny how bad the dimensions are here. This is supposed to be a gigantic ship, and yet our character standing up is like a tenth of the length. That's nothing though, just wait 'til you see how big it is on the inside (inb4 that's what she said).

I like his top hat though, so let's just assume he's a fancy guy who kills anyone he meets because he has enough money to bribe the officers with, which is badass.


"Twelve dollars? Okay, you're good to go buddy."

Luckily we escape him before he can throw us overboard.



OH GOD HE'S FAPPING



I don't really feel like watching an old man pleasure himself, so I decide to leave.



In this room on the first floor, there's a TM containing Brick Break. It's fairly useful at this point in the game, so I'd recommend giving it to a fighting type that can use it well.



This left side of the first floor leads to the kitchen, where I assume I will be fed sammiches.



Why are there only men in here? Forget that, why are there any men here? That's really sexist, Game Freak. A woman can't make a sammich, is that it? Oh by the way you get a Pecha Berry here, which cures poison.



Cherreh Berry here; cures paralysis.



And lastly, we've got a Chesto Berry, which cures sleep.




Huge Ball bag fuck!



Now that we're done there, let's head upstairs.



Talking to this guy will get Snorlax to appear as "seen" in your Pokedex long before you'll be able to otherwise.



Suuurrrprriiiissseee buttsex battle!



So what you're saying is.....you like playing with little kids.




And here we've got some "Star"dust, which will sell for a decent amount at the 'Mart.




And here's an X Attack, if you use them. I personally never do, but whatever.



This can only mean one thing....the Captain died and turned into a ghost!

And apparently now haunts Pokemon cards.

Unfortunately there's no such thing as Ghostbusters in the Pokemon world, so we have to go and capture the ghost on our own.



Not this guy again! Just look at the way he talks. He's using one French word. What a hipster.



A furry gave me his ticket, but eh, close enough.



He's talking about children, of course.




No way Waffle's gonna be able to kill Pidgeotto, so I send out Fearow and use Fury Attack until it dies (lol).




Mankey pretty much pokes Raticate and kills him.





Even with Bite, Meowth isn't strong enough to take down Kadabra, so I switch out to my main powerhouse and take it down.




I guess you could say Bellsprout whipped him into shape. Durhurhur bad puns.

I was gonna put an image of a dominatrix with a whip here having a caption that said "Imagine this, only instead of getting a boner, you die", but turns out there isn't really an appropriate picture of a dominatrix on the internet (big surprise there).



Oh crap. Not only is there a ghost captain on the ship, he's also a samurai. Rated "E" my ass.



No, you see, the vomit was just ectoplasm.

But before we go see the captain, we've still gotta explore the bottom deck of the ship.



There's a Hyper Potion hidden in the can-bucket thing here. Very useful item at this point in the game. Don't miss it.



And there's also a Super Potion on this table in one of the cabins. which will help when we battle Lt. Surge.

*A few battles later*



Bellsprout finally evolved However, I probably won't use a Leaf Stone on it until much, much later in the game. See, it learns Razor Leaf at level 42, which won't be learned if I were to evolve it before then. So yeah, it'll be a while.



That they have big feet? Wait, no... WHAT ARE YOU EVEN SAYING?



I don't think I really even need to say anything here.




And here we've got an Ether, which will be useful for restoring Power Points in the Elite Four. That's what I usually save them up for anyway.



Oh thanks, I couldn't tell from the over 9000 sailors I've already battled.




Picking up the item here will net you a TM for Rest. I don't really use Rest in game, but it's there if you want it.



Apparently sailors are pirates now.

I mean, there's a pretty big difference though between this:

Now, back to the deck where PINGAS was.



Before we fight off this Captain Samurai Ghost dude, we should probably make a plan.....Wait, I've got it.



RUB HIS BACK!



Yes, rub him until he releases! His back until his soul releases from the earth, I mean.

And now that we've talked with the captain, we get out and watch as the horribly sized ship sails away.....

And that's it for this part! I apologize for the late update, but since I knew this was gonna take over an hour, I wanted to wait until I knew my internet wouldn't go out since it was storming almost all weekend long. And I'll admit, I was lazy Sorry. This was basically a dungeon part, so I tried to make it about as interesting as you can make a dungeon. Hope you enjoyed it.

I love your Nuzlocke run so far xD, it's hilarious and you even brought P-p-p-p-popeye into it xD.I hope that Waffle lives till the e4 ;_;.

We'll have to pray in order to Waffles to survive until the E4. Mainly because THERE IS a Fighting type E4.

Just because of this, I started playing Firered on my computer. So far, none of my pokemon have fainted, but I'm too lazy to post constant screenshots and commentary XD
