Chapter 2: The Tragic Courtcase

"Exibit K - the knife you, Mr. buckthefuffalo, used to cut your watermelon. And the knife you used to kill Luck." Evan explained in the courtroom.

"Objection, your Honor. I only cut the watermelon at the stand and left it there long before Luck and Korasi were pronounced dead."

"Overruled." Judge Aizen declaired. Buckthefuffalo didn't respond after that.

"And here is uh, Exhibit K - 2 - the knife that you, Mr. Zai, used to cut your chessecake on the day of the murders." Evan continued.

"Objection your Honor. That is a butter knife. It can barely cut skin, much less do much harm. Also this whole thing is stupid. How can I kill Luck if Evan says that buckthefuffalo already did?" Zai added.

"Overruled. And you're stupid to think we'd allow you kill without consequence." Judge Aizen responded.

Zai stopped his rebuttle.

"Has the Jury reached a verdict?" Aizen asked the Villagers, who were all signed in as the Jury, as they had elected Aizen and Evan into the court officials.

"Guilty. They are both guilty." They all said in a monotone syncronized wave.

buckthefuffalo and Zai were gagged, bounded, and handcuffed in their cells.

The jury all went home to enjoy their fruits, all except Judge Aizen and Prosecutor Evan, who wanted to see the accused one last time.

"Scum like you should just die." Aizen told them. Though they couldn't curse them out due to their gags.

"The Village is now safe without you dangerous people." Evan mocked them. And they couldn't fight back due to their restraints.

A second later Evan fell down. His own red, rich juice flowed out of his after being hit with a long object. Aizen, Zai, and buckthefuffalo looked in awe.

Aizen was next, who had something clamped on his shoulder. It continued onto his neck until he passed out. He never did wake up however due to blood loss.

Zai and buckthefuffalo were sitting ducks in their positions. There was no away to avoid the cruel fate of being accused.

Without a struggle, both of them had their bounds wrapped around ther necks and hanged.

The items that were found at the scene of the crime were a key to the cell that only a few held, and a fake key that did not work in the cell.

With another four dead, the Village began to worry if they could trust anyome other than fruits.
