Mario or sonic?

Hiya! Today we shall end this mario vs sonic thing once and for all.


Its simple. Say who you'd think would win in a battle between the 2


My votes on sonic (no offence to mario! I actually like mario better but sonics much tougher)

sonic cause hes a lot faster and tougher

Sonic is lame and gay. Mario is classic and has better games. Almost all their games are top rated.

Sonic is fast, but his last few games have been terrible, while the non-spinoff Mario games (heck, even some of the spin-offs as well) are much better done.

I honestly think Mario could beat Sonic in a fight though. Mario can launch fireballs, jump, use a hammer, all kinds of stuff, while Sonic just kind of runs and bumps into Mario.

Mario could easily one shot Sonic with the smash stick.

Mario wins he could just fly around in his raccoon suit and shoot fire balls at Sonic or he could just one shot him with his hammer

Don't forget about the giant mushroom. He would trample Sonic.

Of course Mario. The is no way to compare Mario to that lame hedgehog. xD

Eh I grew up on sonic comics/games but in a fight Mario takes tha cake.

But seriously, sonic would easily use his chaos emeralds and or/out speed mario in such a way mario wouldn't be able to counter

Mario has starman power up, and according to Mario Law nothing can defend against Starman

I'm actually assuming this is in the game of SSBB.

In brawl, neither of them are that good. (I am personally a Lucario main with D3, Pikachu, Falco, Olimar and Yoshi as others) I say this because both of them have awful finishing moves, and from my own experience of battling CPU9s and my siblings as pretty much all characters. Sonic is the better option over mario. I say this because mario is really too slow and neither powerful nor heavy. He is just light enough to be easy-KO'd with Wolf's fsmash, and just heavy enough to be infinite chain-grabbed by D3. (I did this once to my little brother; he was NOT happy) Mario does have 2 projectiles, but the fireball fizzles out too soon and the FLUDD only works for edgeguarding. Mario has some issues with getting edgeguarded as well, and is very predictable recovery-wise, and goes into helpless frames after his b-up. Sonic is the fastest character in the game, and the proud owner of one of the most annoying taunts int he game. He has no projectiles, but has the ability to stay in the air infinitely with his nair and is very difficult to predict as all of his attacks look the same at the beginning. Sonic's moves do have high priority, and his bside can compensate for the lack of projectile. he can also tech-chase with his down throw as well. However, Mario actually has a favorable match-up against sonic, though sonic is a better character overall.

Oh, someone knows there Brawl.


I honestly don't like either of them. I just like Mario because his Games were original.

I love the super mario series. It seems like only yesterday that I played super mario all-stars on Super Nintendo

Definitely Mario since it's a classic and there are lots of Mario games.
