Nightmare Doubt:Trick-or-Treat Edition

This is a Murder Mystery IS. The concept of this is very simple.

1. You will sign up to become members of the Town of Nightmare.

2. After sign ups are completed, everyone will be sent their role as a Villager or a/the Wolf [Killer]. Each person is randomly chosen as one or the other.

As a Villager, you must scurry around, maybe talk to other Villagers, create theories, and eventually vote for those who you want hanged. The Wolf is a "Villager" too. Whether you want to make yourself an enemy or a friend is up to you.

As a Wolf, you will PM the Game Master the victim of your choice. You may not pick yourself. Nor may you pick the dead. Every Wolf will only be able to choose one and only one victim to begin the game. You may detail your kill as much as you want. It's encouraged.

3. At the start of every round, two randomly selected Villages (wolf included in this drawing) will receive a gift. One will be a Treat, another a Trick. As such, one will hold a clue, another a red herring. It will be announced which one was which at the end of each of hanging.

4. When the first blood is drawn [first murder], you, as part of the Village, must decide among yourselves who is responsible. There will be a vote to try to figure out who the Wolf is and the person with the highest amount of votes will be hung. The Wolf him/herself may vote too as a "Villager".

5. At the end of each hanging, a post in this thread will be posted whether you were correct or incorrect.

If you are correct, everyone lives.
If you are incorrect, the cycle will repeat itself.

The game ends when everyone dies (killed by Wolf/hanged by Villagers), or the Wolf is caught.

I wanted to be a wolf....

Chapter 1: October 31

Halloween was a sacred holiday for the Town of Nightmare. It was a day to engorge yourself with candy, scare the other townsfolk, and generally have a good time.

In fact, everyone was so excited about Halloween this year that everyone stocked up on hundreds of bags of candy. From chocolate to hard candy, thank god that there were no dentists in the town, because these villagers were getting ready for a sweet feast.

While candy was one thing to look forward to that night, there was another part that everyone was looking forward to equally if not more to.

The costumes. The costumes would be what everyone would be known for that night. Until the next big holiday, this was everyone's chance to make a big impression to everyone else about their festive spirit. So the costumes had to be especially thought well about.

After everyone got their costumes, and maintaining it a secret too, the townspeople began to decorate their little houses.

Bats, black cats, pumpkins and more Halloween-centric decorations took the village of Nightmare by the storm. By 6:00 PM, everyone was almost ready to show off how special their houses, candy selection, and of course their costume selection expressed the excitement that Halloween brought to them and the town.

All the villagers gathered at the central plaza of Nightmare at 8 PM sharp when the sun was down and the clear sky revealed the bright moon.

Two things caught the villagers' surprise:

1) Frashu, L, and Korasi were missing.

2) More importantly, all of them were wearing the same costume:

"Evan the Wolf" was one of the most iconic fictional characters that everyone knew and loved to be considered the spirit of Halloween. So while trying to cleverly pay Halloween homage to the great spirit, they all failed to stand out to the rest.

After a very awkward five minutes of complementing each other's costumes, Safiliwen got the attention of everyone else.

"Now that most of us are here, why don't we go around everyone's houses?"

And so everyone decided to start with buckthefuffalo's house. It was covered in glow in the dark spider webs and other spooky goodies. Danye West noticed that one of the spider webs said "die" within the tangled threads. Making it a scary touch, everyone else shivered and nodded in approval and marched on. The candy he offered everyone was chocolates mostly, with some fruity hard candies.

Jamm and Zai's houses were right next to each other, so the two presented them at the same time

"Here we have my house. When you push the doorbell right over here, the house lights will begin to turn on and off!" Zai beamed. It was certainly an eerie detail. Jamm on the other hand had his house with multiple white chalk drawings in the shapes of people. Red paint was used everywhere to denote that something horrible happened by this house.

Everyone applauded Jamm's artistic talent, as he looked to see if the giant body tracers were tucked away neatly in the shed out of view. Too bad that Jamm only brought butterscotch. Zai's mint chocolate candies and candy bars were far more appetizing. The pack of wolves made their way over to the next house.

Safiliwen's house was hard to find. All of his lights were turned off, and there was nothing glow in the dark. Danye West screamed suddenly, running into Chronoduck and Drathmar. They felt something abruptly land on their heads and shoulders and joined Danye West in his screams.

Toy spiders! Then they saw someone laughing on top of the tree.

Korasi was on top of a big branch of Safiliwen's big tree, with a bucket of little plastic spiders at hand. Then the tree branch gave and snapped in half causing Korasi to fall down.

While everyone was concerned for him, they were also mad at him for pulling such a nasty trick when he knew that everyone but him, buckthefuffalo and Safiliwen were actually arachnophobic. Safiliwen then confessed that he paid Korasi in candy to stay on the branch until they came because he had nothing else planned. When asked why he didn't do it himself, Safiliwen embarrassingly told them that he was actually scared of heights in order to climb the tree and throw the spiders. He didn't have any candy at all. Korasi then joined the group.

The next house would have been Korasi's, Drathmar's and Chronoduck's, but Danye West saw something far away on fire that immediately caused all the wolf costumes to oohh and aahh. Danye West himself panicked.

"That's my house!" and consequently, Frashu's house. They were brothers after all. Set ablaze, the orange house now the brightest Jack-O-Lantern the town had ever seen.

Danye West and Frashu's evidently had set up a pumpkin theme for their house. A lone Jack-O-Lantern was left untouched by the fire in the end.

The said Jack-O-Lantern was stuck on a body that was lying out in the grass. The person was wearing yet another wolf costume, so they tried to remove the Jack-O-Lantern from the head..

Korasi vomited immediately after seeing what was underneath: nothing. The body was now completely headless. Korasi ended up revealing his uneasiness with blood after quickly drinking water.

After regaining their senses, they decided to quickly count the villagers. Korasi was now among them after the tree branch incident, and so the only two left missing were Flash and L. One of them was missing a head.

Heading over to L's house immediately, they found his door unlocked.

L was on the floor holding Flash's head. There was blood everywhere. He didn't respond at all when called. Safiliwen checked the body as Drathmar, buckthefuffalo, and Chronoduck escorted Danye West and Korasi from seeing the scene. He removed the head from L's grasp, without any problems. Zai and Jamm fell down. Saf quickly dropped Flash's head.

L had a giant rip in his stomach, which was packed with brightly colored lemon flavored candy.

Gift: Someone lied about their phobia. This could possibly point to Buck or could be the red herring we'll have to see when the other gift is posted.

I would think that the lemon candy was a fruit reference. Additionally, the mention of "Something horrible happened by this house" leads me to believe that Jamm (like fruit jam) is one of the wolves.

HOWEVER.

Buck is the only one mentioned to have "fruity hard candies", which L happened to be stuffed full of. Food for thought.

Buck also has die on his house which is kinda obvious but could be a throw off. Also i said only some fruity hard candies from buck but mostly chocolates also we didn't know the candies of other people, and I think its NOT the people mentioned to have those candies so not zai,buck,jamm at least for now.

It could be safi since he has no candy which might be because it was all stuffed in L.

Also could be Danye since their house was the Jack-o-lantern house and flashes head was replaced by a jack-o-lantern.

Gift: "There was a certain bright, hot pink obscure symbol underneath Flash's body."

I would say L's name is a "hot pink". Whether this means anything though is anyone's guess.

Maybe Flash was a wolf and killed me, and the other wolf killed him to avenge their fallen friend. I'd look at people who are actually nice to me on occasion. d:

Maybe Korasi?

His phobia was blood. One of the hints is that someone lied about their phobia. His apparent 'phobia' may have just been a coverup to make himself look like he couldn't be the killer. He was also away from the group for some time.

One of the Hints is false though. Also Maybe you were a wolf and killed flash and the other wolf killed you to avenge him, so look at people that like Flash, so pretty much everyone here.

No one likes you so I doubt that your theory holds up.
