the 4 player 2 on 2s are pretty fun, the best part of last night was Evan Dragon Tailing when we had 2 Fairy types out. Yeah that happened.

the exp share is highly op i havent used froakie since I started and its my level 30 while i just rotate between pikachu, skiddo, swirlx....

Nothing but Ariodos and smeargle confirmed to get yet though.

Other new mechanics changes I have found:

Critical hits are nerfed to x1.5 damage from x2.0
If a weather rock is held, the weather ablities last 8 turns instead of 5
The sleep counter does not reset on switch out.

So Protean is better than we though, confirmed on smogon research thread:

Protean changes the user's type to match that of the move they are about to use, even status moves.

And Greninja is super duper fast, it's going to take a lot of predicting, right?

Only Froakie line and Keckleon get it right?

Yep that is correct awake. And ya, which also means it gets stab on ANY move it can learn.

Also. Trapping moves (Wrap, fire spin, infestation) now all do 1/8 health per turn instead of 1/16. Which is a HUGE boost. That means if you can stay alive for the full 5 turns thats OVER 50% health from residual damage that can't be resisted.
