Pokemon of the Month

Coming into this thread and by the title alone, you probably think that this is a way overused idea. Maybe so, but I think it will actually help. My idea is to make a pokemon of the month, where one pokemon is chosen, probably voted on, and there is a specifc area of the forum for this. This wouldn’t be like the pokemon of the week, as in not only sets could be made but there could be art contests and an overall analysis of the pokemon. There would be a sprite on the edge of it like this (photo shopped on paint)–



Which maybe you could click to go to the area about it, and even if its only decoration, it at least adds color to the site. If the LP idea catches on, maybe there'd be a special event giving away this pokemon if the runs catch on or each person would each use their own to battle other's of that pokemon. This is just a rough idea though. Please give me feedback, and don't be too mean with criticism if you don't like the idea...

I honestly think there's nothing we need to change with that idea and just impliment it asap, also on an off note where it says I had a Latin moment I so did not read that as I had a Lesbian moment.

Leo, mods have to approve of it first, though I'm glad you like the idea!

Credit to Luc too, who wanted a pokemon of the month much earlier than I did.

I actually shared this idea back when the staff was discussion what they should do with "Pokemon of the Week" but nothing happened or they forgot about it .

Many people have brought this idea up and just haven't had the "extra" ideas needed to make it worth while hense why we've only just green lighted it as of around 10 minutes ago.

By Pokemon of the Week, Month, etc was done through Competitive Battling, but this is a good start on it, with it being simpler, and adding more color to the main page. :B

PotM is always a fun idea~ ^-^
