4th Gen Brought Back

Hey I think that 4th gen should be brought back. Some people may not battle on black/white and prefer the older games.And to be honest I think that 4th gen was alot more fun than the 5th gen metagame. It was great that you actually could make a lead and didn't have to depend on what your opponent uses. 5th gen made it easier for people to predict their lead if they even have one and some people didn't like their teams being shown. I rather rely on skill instead of predicting what the opponent will use thanks to the team preview before hand.

Your welcome to battle 4th Gen. The issue is finding someone to battle with.

It wouldn't be much of an issue if people didn't stop playing 4th gen in the first place.

I don't have B/W myself, but is there a way to turn off team preview? It takes away from prediction, admittedly.

There is something I don't agree. Leads didn't exist on Gen 4. They were reduced to SR set upers (90%) and some Anti-leads or Attacking Leads.

Uhh, it's the same way 5th Gen... Then only real 'new' lead is Whimsicott.

Actually leads was very common in 4th gen.

No, in 5th gen I see whimsicott leads, Thunderus Nasty Plots, Shell Smash Cloyster, powerhouse Tyranitar, Drizzle Politoed, Drought Ninetales, Phazer hippowdon, Deoxys-S, all sorts of things, not just Whimsicott. I do agree that most of last gen leads were either attacking or SR users. The most common lead was suicide azelf, for example.

I know they are kinds of lead, but almost all leads in Gen 4 were meant to set up SR. As Epic said, Azelf was more than OverUsed, it was AlwaysUsed.

Not all leads was meant to set up SR. Some of them like roserade set up toxic spikes, while others use spikes. Most leads was meant to setup entry hazards but there are leads that are full offensive sets to destroy right off the bat.

I definitely prefer Gen 5. It's much better, and wouldn't be boring if weather wasn't so abused.

I agree with ed that weather is WAY overpowered in Gen 5, but saying that gen 4 is better is like staying with the R/S generation in gen 4. I don't really think there is a "better" in pokemon, but generally I like to advance with the generations.

Well, Skarm is overshadowed by Ferro now. Some use Jellicent or Chansey instead of Bliss now.
