Idea for a Pokemon fanfic.

Basically, I've been thinking about writing for the first time in a long time.
A story about an orphaned Seviper trainer, who comes from a family of Seviper trainers. He survives the onslaught of a struggle between Zangoose and Seviper families, while hiding away with his Seviper. The main character doesn't understand why the families fight, but it's actually something I'm working on.
The main character has a rival. Yes, it's the son of the head of the Zangoose family. The main character goes to collect gym badges, fights with his rival, and to understand the struggle.
What do you, the readers, think?

Well, I thought about doing that, but trashed that idea. The rival character will be male, along with the main character.

That actually sounds pretty interesting Baluc. I like the whole Seviper Zangoose conflict between each other. :3
