Personal Thoughts: So, everyone loves Shaymin in Sky Form right? But whats wrong with Land Form! I great spread of 100 everywhere is just pure awesome [: You have chances to Mix-n-Match skills and sets! Shaymin has its ups and downs, but overall is probably one of the best choices to battle with in OU. Here is why:

Set #1: Life Orb Sweeper
Item: Life Orb
Ability: Natural Cure
Nature: Timid (-Attack, + Speed)
EV’s: 4 HP, 252 Special Attack, 252 Speed
- Seed Flare
- Earth Power
- Hidden Power Ice/Fire (I prefer Ice, to many dragons nowadays)
- Rest

This is a perfect set and most likely the best set for Shaymin. Seed Flare is going to hit everyone like a rock, damaging those Bulky Water Pokemon!! Earth Power is for those steels and fire types, especially Heatran who just try to kill poor Shaymin. And then there is Rest, you can’t go wrong with this. Low on heath or have a status? Rest then switch out! Thank goodness for Natural Cure[:

Set #2: Leech Seed ‘Em!
Item: Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
Nature: Modest (-Attack, + Sp. Attack)
EV’s: 252 Special Attack, 252 Speed
- Leech Seed
- Protect/Substitute
- Hidden Power Fire-Ice/Earth Power
- Seed Flare

This set was built to take down the bulks!(: Since weather teams are so common today, its safe to say that this Shaymin will be able to survive any blow that comes its way. Substitute and Leech Seed create the SubSeed combination allowing Shaymin to drain away HP. The Best STAB attack to go with is Seed Flare!~ And then you can decide between the 4th Set, since there are many reasons on why a certain Hidden Power or Earth Power should be chosen!

Set #3: Semi-Cleric
Item: Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
Nature: Bold (-Attack, + Defense)
EV’s: 232 HP, 140 Defense, 136 Sp. Defense
- Aromatherapy
- Toxic
- Protect/ Substitute
- Seed Flare

Basic set and not popular at all, although it is effective. Basically if someone is in need of a status remover, you know who to call! SHAYMIN!(: Not ghostbusters. Toxic and Protect/Substitute can work together while you also can hit them with Seed Flare, dealing a good % of damage.

I love shaymin too, but the first two sets are the same as the smogon sets....The last one is creative though, and I do like the analysis on the first two sets.
