Tanking Clefable
I have a great Clefable set. My favorite pokemon to use are defensive pokemon with and offensive twist. And here it is:
Clefable@ Life Orb
Magic Gaurd
Calm Nature
252 hp // 128 def // 128 SpDef
-Cosmic Power
-Ice beam
-Charge Beam
-Softboiled
Ok. Life orb abuse because of Magic Gaurd. You can switch into Toxic and special attackers all day. Then you set up a cosmic power, and take it from there. This functions much like a calm mind set, but you have more bulk and boost sp. attack with charge beam. Then softboiled makes up for lefties. Yall probaly knew every thing I just explained so I'm gonna shut up now. Please comment for my first moveset post!

I once used a Jirachi set similar to yours. It seems pretty annoying but there's the thing of not being able to deal enough damage to your opponents. Bolt beam gives good coverage but without a stab move. Eh. It's a good set nonetheless.

Re: Tanking Clefable
This set is almost completely walled by Swampert. It prevents the Sp. Attack boost, and Ice Beam won't exactly do much. You MIGHT want to replace Ice Beam for Grass Knot, if you wanted to get rid of that particular weakness, or you could find somewhere to add Toxic to the set to stall.

Damn swampert
Thanks for the feedback. Yea swampert does wall me. But rather than changing the moveset, having a pokemon to handle ground types as support would be nice.

Shaymin is nice to handle that role. SubSeed with HP Ice and Seed Flare is VERY nice.

Re: Tanking Clefable
This set actually seems quite interesting, something I'd like to try out. As for team mates, 3 pokes that come to mind immediately are rotom-A, any powerful grass type (be it celebi, shaymin, roserade, breloom or even venusaur if it's intended for UU) as well as scarf tyranitar. scarf tyranitar serves an important role as a trick absorber, with most users of trick being either ghost or psychic types, switching in on the predicted trick allows you to pursuit for the easy k.o, leaving clefable with 1 less thing to worry about. roserade as the grass type of choice has the added benefit of toxic spikes, allowing you to easily outstall troublesome pokes like the aforementioned swampert, as well as special walls such as blissey and snorlax. As for swampert walling you, whilst this is true, swampert can really do very little back to clefable. Roar, whilst removing accumulated boosts, isn't too much of a problem as magic guard prevents entry hazard damage. The only sets that could really threaten clefable would be choice band or curse varients, though if you get enough cosmic power boosts banded versions shouldn't be a problem and curse versions can be stopped by your resident grass type partner.

lolno, electric and ice moves on the same set are god, they generally cover eachother, grass knot would leave it weak to steel, dragons, and many more things, most good pory2 sets are charge/ice
