Interactive Story : Gates of Hell

Prologue:

In a world filled with strife and poverty, a monarchy presides over the 4 districts in the Capitol. Though kind, the king is strict, and does not accept rebellion in any way. But soon, the heir to the throne goes missing, and the forces of the undead begin to invade the world. Have unholy forces been empowered, or have divine forces weakened? What kind of magic is afoot?And where is the prince? Only time (and action) will tell.

In this interactive story, 8 people will choose their own actions in effort to reach the end of the story. If your character dies, you are no longer a part of the game, other than who, and what, you have affected. Depending on your district, and character trait, you will be assigned a character. You must guide this character with the best of your abilities, and prevent it from dying. Sign up here. Good Luck.

Procedure:

Choose a district, and a character trait. You will then be assigned a character. You are expected to be active. After 3 days, if you haven't chosen an action, you will be given another two days to make one. If you don't, I will find a creative way for you to die. Only 2 people per district.

Deciding you don't want to sit there and rot, you look for something more interesting to do.

The pay is usually bad, and you usually spend it all getting drunk anyways. Your shift is almost over, and today was quiet. No thiefs trying to escape. You start thinking about what your going to do afterwards.

1) Head to the tavern with your pay, probably just to get wasted.
2) Go home and try to sleep.
3) Go to the arena and attempt to earn some cash.
4) Attempt to rob someone.

2) Head home.
3) Go buy some cheap whiskey.
4) Wander through the shops, looking for something to buy.

Deciding it's pointless to question your superior's actions, you look for something else to do.

1) Ask the barkeep for something to drink (custom dialogue).
2) Find a drunk guy to start a fight with.
3) Flip a table and yell "YOU'RE WASTING YOUR LIVES!"
4) Leave the tavern.

3) Barricade the exits and wait it out.

You can't go home, as it collapsed in the fire. Your family died too, so your alone. Scared, you try to think of where you can go.

2) Go to the Craftsmen District and meander about the shops.
3) Weep in the ashes of your old home.
4) Find a bed in the barracks.

The barkeep brings you your eggs.
"Y'Know, it wouldn't be such crap if we had some of that stuff that the brewery makes. I would go get some, but I need to watch the place. Mind goin for me? I'd be happy to pay you." He says warmly.

1) Nod your head and ask for the money to buy the alchohol.
2) Tell him no.
3) Ask what the pay is.
4) Custom responce.
