This thread will discuss the changes coming to Nightmare League following the introduction of Pokemon X and Y, or Generation IV (Six,6)

Trainer Registration


  • Trainers will have to register a pool a Pokemon to be used to fight Gym Leaders. This is so trainers will not be able to create overly advantageous teams for each Gym Leader.



  • Trainers will register 10 Pokemon to use for Gym Battles, allowing trainers to have more options to use than just 6 Pokemon.



  • Trainers will register an additional 5 Pokemon to their roster of 10 for use in the Elite Four matches and Champion battle. 

Gauntlets


  • Trainers must fight a series of Gym Trainers before they can battle the Gym Leader of a type. These matches will be 3v3 matches, with standard rules.



  • Once defeated, you can fight the Leader as much as the Gym Leader wills it (most have time restrictions).
