Hey, so I'm writing a book....

Heyaaaa, never thought I'd be posting in here....but....I am....so....you know. I'm writing a book, I've only just started, but I've got a lot of it planned out already....It's about....well....no spoilers. But I'd love some advice from all of you guys that are adept writers! I know my grammar isn't the best, and I'd prefer the writing to be good. It's in first person.

Just remember to make interesting character, interesting setting, interesting plot, or just kill everyone.

This just reminded me that Qualna was supposed to write more of that story about Kool-Aid man.

The Dream Realm



“I’m all alone in the dark. I cannot escape it. Why should I even be allowed to, after what I did? After what I caused the others. All I can do is wait for death to come. Is this all I can do?” I contemplated that question for a minute. “We all have to face our fears eventually… Even me.”



Chapter One : Reality

The sky was clear a minute ago….now the cloud cover blocked out the sun. I could barely see the field in this darkness, though I could still make out the army of skeleton warriors moving towards me. I raised my sword, and cur through them. Not a single blow missed, swiping through bones. As I swiped through one’s spine, another swung it’s sword at me. Narrowly avoiding it, I stumbled backwards and fell over a rock, dropping my sword. There weren’t many skeletons left, but they were closing in on me. I raised my hand to the sky, and the clouds blocking out the sun responded with the rumble of thunder. A few seconds later, lightning began striking the skeletal warriors down. I stood up, and began walking towards the only one left, their apparent leader, a menacing figure in thick black armor riding a black stallion. I backed away, suddenly terrified for some reason. As I turned around, a figure wearing a dark black cloak appeared in front of me. He cut my sword in half with a scythe as I raised it, and grabbed my shoulder with one of his white, boney hands as I tried to run away. I felt myself slipping away, I was sure I was dying. I closed my eyes, and opened them.
I was in my bed. No dark terrifying figure, no army. It was just a dream. “Welcome back to the world of the living, Vern.” I sighed, and got up out of bed. I was disappointed that I wasn't a hero battling evil, but I was relieved to be alive.
