Same. This year however I come into conflict with New York Comic Con. My ticket just so happens to be for the 12th. Oh well. I decided to go and get X before I head over to meet up with friends.

Of course every generation HAS to have a Pikachu knockoff, with this one being Dedenne. And what sense does it make that Cle"fairy" isn't going to be a Fairy-type? I mean, really? And of course, Yveltal or whatever has to have the WORST possible offensive typing. Like, Dark and Flying STAB. Oooooo, fucking ferocious.

Dedenne is pretty adorable. I'll catch one for sure. <3
Clefairy will probably be retyped. So will Snubbull. If Mawile can be retyped, so can they.
Dark Flying does cover Fighting and Bug. It all depends on the movepools and stats.

I would get Y, but I just really like the look of X. Whenever I saw an advertisement for the new versions, I just chose sides immediately. Red, Silver, Ruby, Pearl, Black, and X.

Depending on its speed, it could really pack a lot of power. I'm imaginiging a double Hammer Arm followed by a double Sucker Punch could be pretty devastating to just about everything.

Even without Speed, this thing could benefit from a bulky set with Curse.

Mhm. It's a super compound ability based on the information that we have so far. The only thing that could break that theory is if they announced that it only counted as one Pokémon being boosted.

Yeah, it looks like we're going to have to do some experimenting with the Mega Pokemon. It doesn't look like we can get stat analysis so easily since the 3DS can't be hacked into successfully.

What do you mean, stat analysis? And hacking? Are you saying that we'd have to hack it to find out what their base stats are?

In Black and White the way the stats released was through data extraction direct from the game. I don't know if the 3DS will allow something like to happen, considering hacking into it is something that hasn't really been done successfully. Any flaws in the security can be fixed soon enough by a patch update from Nintendo.

Well, that remains to be seen. There's always a common exploit. I mean, they only have to hack it once to get practically all of the data.

Yeah. They still have 2 months to get some sort of breakthrough with the 3DS. Though, I'd prefer to be kept in the dark for a while. I'm glad that this gives 3DS battling an advantage over simulators for the time being, since it might take a while for them to update.
