There's also a petition floating around to stop the ESA from supporting SOPA to stop big companys etc going to E3 (The ESA's biggest paid event) Which in turn will drop one of SOPA's biggest supporters.

I don't see how this will prevent piracy. ROMs will still be available, and if not throught the internet, the people who distribute these will just find other means for doing it. Now getting websites like 7/8 of internet websites involved and being taken off is just for something that can't really be stopped to me a little bit... wat?
