Game Over - Dragonite

Well, the most powerful of all dragons, is now even moar powerful, with my set, it maximizes its power, and becomes an almost unstoppable force.



Dragonite, Female, Shiny.

Nature: Adamant

Item: Choice Band

Evs: 252 Attack, 252 Speed, 4 Whatever

Moveset: Waterfall, Extremespeed, Outrage, Fire Punch



Pretty strong.

Interesting set there, but what is the purpose of Waterfall? When you could run something else, like maybe Dragon claw if you don't want to be locked in on Outrage.

Eh not too bad but to me Adamant + CB = a bit of a waste imo yeah you do get the nice boost in atk but it doesn't hurt to boost that speed up a little either.

Goodluck against Gliscor's without waterfall.

So I'm assuming you mean even though it can 2HKO - 3HKO a Gliscor without it right? it's not that huge a deal.

Does it learn Ice punch? If so it's a much better alternative.

I believe with the fact that Speed> Power. It may lose like 40 attack or so, but that's more of a cost than being outsped by bulky Dnite with some speed or the like. I believe Waterfall could be viable, as Gliscor's annoy the crap out of Dnites, if it goes in on anything but a Waterfall or DD. Waterfall would also help against the rare Rhyperrior, just throwing that out.

Mhmm, everyone is saying speed>power, but go and test them, ull come back and agree with me. trust.

The other issue I have with the set is the fact that Dnite is Revenge killed by too much without scarf or DD, so while you have the nice atk stat etc finding a safe switch and then doing something with it just seems a bit eh, I haven't liked CB Dnite for the longest time though so yeah.



EDIT: While speed isn't always > Power if your too slow to make use of the power what use is a poke then =p

Dragonite - YESH. Female - uh...I think male dragonites are better. Shiny - NO. IT MAKES IT LOOK LIKE PUFF THE MAGIC DRAGON, AND THEREFORE ON DRUGS. ORANGE IS BETTER.

I actually use almost the same exact dragonite which (DO NOT SHAME ME, it was filler) I got on smogon with dragon claw instead of waterfall. In fact, waterfall was listed second in the smogon description...people say speed over power, but with multiscale, power really does make a difference. Outrage can 2hko pokemon it really can't jolly, and gliscor do hate switching in on waterfall, but outrage actually 2hkos gliscor. I used dragon claw because it still got most of the KOs waterfall did. I actually never did have gliscor issues though, because I used a mienshao lead with hp ice.

Yeh these days anything carrying HP ice deals with a Gliscor in genearl and HP Ice itself is never bad coverage lets not lie with Multiscale however I agree Power>Speed but if for whatever reason you don't run it then Speed>Power imo

I love how ScarfTran is like out now, but it counters threats. Just trade HP Ice for Explosion. No Gliscor, no Salamence, no Dragonite (if you set up SR), no Ferro, and basically no Skarm, except for Sturdy.
