Leo's Breath taking Mono-Region Tournament !

There's been a lot of talk for a Mono-Region tourney and I think it'll be a lot of fun . I can't say much for the prizes considering most of us use pokegen or GTS for geting our pokemon but you'll get the satisfaction knowing that you won a tourney :3

Mono Region rules

Region Clause - All pokemon must be from the same region .

Species Clause - It's allowed here .

No Ubers - Garchomp is allowed as long as it's not in the sand or carrying the stall breaker moveset I made . Blaziken with Blaze is allowed but speed boost isn't . Thundurus is also banned,but Excadrill isn't as long as it's not in sandstorm.

OHKO Clause - Moves that score a guaranteed "One-hit-KO" on the opponent, such as Sheer Cold, Horn Drill, Guillotine, or Fissure, are banned.

Evasion Clause - Moves that directly increase a users Evasion such as Double Team and Minimize are banned. Including Garchomp in sand .

Battle Mechanics:

Sleep Clause - Only one Pokémon can be put to sleep by an opponent at a time, per team.

Self-KO Clause - If an opponent uses Selfdestruct or Explosion with their last Pokémon, they lose the game regardless of the number of Pokémon remaining on the other team.

Baton Pass Clause - I'll leave that up to you guys.

I'm not going to put a limit on the number of people entering .
This is going to be opened for entry until next Sunday because Movie night is on Saturday .
This will be both PO & DS Wifi because some users may not have DS or PO .

The deadline is October 16 .If we don't get like 10 people before Sunday or a even number of people then it'll stay open for a while longer.

I wanna join. And it's highly possible I'll use a Sinnoh team.

This is nightmare , nightmare allows unreleased pokemon/abilitys . And yeah you can use the same tier/region .

It was a tough choice but Kanto just doesn't have the options so I'll be going with Johto for this one, so sine meh up =3

I suppose I'll give it a shot. Perhaps I'll do Hoenn. Or Sinnoh.

Question is, when is the cut off line for people joining? cuz if you have uneven numbers have fun with that =p I'd say call it at 10 or 12 in past experience having anything above or below that unless it's like 8 makes it kinda awkward and fiddly to manage, especially if it's an uneven number so yeah just would be good to know.

NO WAY NO WILD CARD!!!! that ruins all the fun ive spent a crapload of time making a team specifically for this and you all have been helping me, i do not want wildcards. then its not single-region. 1 region per player plz ^_^ lol

I agree with no wildcards. All regions have walls, sweepers, supporters and leads, so wildcards are not necessary.

I'm not going to drop out Species Clause because in some regions its hard to make a good team because there's only certain amount of good pokes .
