I wish I could have been there. I am 100% against merging. If what Griffin says is true, affiliation won't be an option, but I still plan on investigating on my own as well.

Very true. And by what he said in chat, I too am also against affiliation now, especially by how he acted towards us on the whole, it just stands to reason that we will do just fine without sites that are out to grab cash by posting ads everywhere etc.

I feel the only reason he wanted us affiliated or merged in the first place was to grab more cash for hiimself through the ad function etc I've seen it done before and it never goes well, the sites tend to be more about the money than caring about members.

On a side note he tried to convince us more by saying staff would also be keeping there positions on the new site. Yeah as if we'd fall for that bait.

Uhhuh. And he wants people to donate give him money for him to get things he personally wants, saying that it'll help the site and that it's for a good reason :/ i.e. HS/SS, a video cam, new computer, etc.
