Trick Room Malamar

So I recently obtained a Shiny Malamar and I wanted to put it to good use. Unfortunately, it is Relaxed (not really the best nature for a booster in the need of Speed. It has de need fo' speed!
Anyway, I decided to make a set around this so that I can use it effectively (as effectively as a fucking Relaxed Malamar can be used). Thus, my Trick Room set was born!
Malamar @ Life Orb
Nature: Relaxed (+Def, -Spe)
Trait: Contrary
EVs:
Moveset:
- Superpower
- Psycho Cut
- Night Slash
- Trick Room
This set is ideally used when Trick Room is already up and it can come in on something that has been weakened. This particular moveset gives Malamar supreme overall coverage, along with Night Slash/Psycho Cut for STAB and the crux of this Pokémon's set: Superpower. For those of you who don't know, Contrary reverses stat boosts and drops. For instance, Curse would add Speed and reduce Attack and Defence, when it would normally do exactly the opposite. When Malamar spams one of the strongest Fighting moves in the game, it raises his stats. On top of his recently lowered Speed (Relaxed nature), he can effectively underspeed just about any base 70 Speed Pokémon (which is not really that hard, considering it has a max Speed of like.... 260?
Whatever.
Let me know how you like my little set! Smogon probably has something better, but I try not to be too much of a metasheep. Thanks for reading!

How much does Scarf Malamar outspeed anyway?
I like Malamar, and I think that the Contrary boosting is neat, but I'd really like to see Malamar in Doubles!

73 base speed, so it's not going to be outspeeding anything CRAZY. Regardless, I do think it can be quite potent with the abundance of Sticky Web, and Fighting is a pretty decent neutral attacking move, especially in Superpower.

Use this in doubles with Contrary Serperior when Bank comes out to get maximum Special Attack boosts.

Contrary Serperior isn't even a thing yet, Buck, even after Pokebank. :c
Malamar sounds like a really fun Pokemon in Doubles in general, though.

I remember when I used to do Battle Subway with Contrary Serperior. It was really good and it was super fun to use. Malamar is the same. It really keeps the thinking going.
