Alright boys and girls. Today's challenge is: What is your least favourite class? Most favourite? What is the most irritating part? Any shitty problems you're having with a subject or idea? Post here!

Sounds like you have a first world problem right there, some children walk miles to go to school, count your blessings!

My problem is the insane amount of essays my science teachers believe they need to set me, The exam is nothing on essays and the biology courses I looked at don't require this kind of research... #shitteaching

Overall my classes aren't that bad. Personal finance is boring but easy, Latin 4 is pretty much just doing my work at whatever pace I feel like since I'm the only one taking it, choir is going smoother than last year (although it'll be hell when we start doing performances nearly every day for Christmas season), and Calculus takes work to grasp but is going alright so far. Fighting the good fight by not signing up for any actually arguably important clubs (National Honor Society, Math Honor Society, etc.) while making the feminists/DEEP kids in my philosophy club butthurt.

The only shitty thing I'm having to do right now is getting things set up for applying to college and all that.

Professor: "So how is new soil introduced to the ecosystem?"
Me: "Over long periods of time, meteorites will actually land and accumulate, meaning it is an alternate source of soil, though over a large period of time."
Professor: "That's not true at all. Meteorites of insignificant size would just burn up in the atmosphere."
Entire Lecture Hall: "That doesn't mean meteorites wouldn't burn down to the size of sediment or relative size."

Lol. Cry me a river with college apps, Buck. Chrono, try three essays a week in English on top of a fifteen small essay assignment every six weeks. I never took Personal Relations.
As for my stuff, I love History (my most hated subject ironically) because the professor is quirky and likes 50s shit like me. I hate Jazz History because my professor is an idiot and recites answers from the book verbatum when you email her questions. And choir is alright, except the bass section is some 30 year old douchebag, a kid with so many pimples his nose looks like a pincushion (also a ridiculously obsessed Homestuck), a pompous fag of a high school Junior, and me. And the Soprano sections' entirety wants to be a soloist one day, so our pieces have no dynamics. And if I hear one more bitch faking a vibrato to sound older, I'm going to snap her neck and fuck her corpse.

This is why I always respond with "Oh, I don't really listen to music that much", which is mostly true. Not like we'd be able to get in a conversation about that kind of music anyway, unless I already know they like that crap.

Hey, I said it was shitty, not like it was the worst thing in the world. It's just a nuisance, especially having to ass people for recommendation letters.

Sopranos are objectively always the worst part of any choir. But luckily no one here tries to make vibratos and that makes me happy.

Also, Personal Relations is a real class?! Man, I wish we had that here. Sounds easy.

So I'm actually kinda hype now because it turns out I can go to a university with a really nice engineering department for free tuition (like almost 100k total for 4 years), and possibly get a significant chunk out of dorms to where it would be manageable, along with other random perks. Only catch is that it's out-of-state.

While we're at it, what kind of scholarships did you guys get? Any particularly cool ones like contests and stuff?
