New info from Serebii

So we got the English names for the evolutions. As well as some ability name changes, more importantly however we've learnt that Ghost types are no longer affected by trapping moves such as mean look, Electric types can no longer be paralyzed, Grass types also can't be spored by the spore moves. All sounds pretty interesting though my biggest gripe with it is Nyaonikusus English name is kinda lame.

That's a really interesting buff for Grass and Electric types. It looks like Limber Stunfisk is the new Rotom Fan.

It's about time they fixed Spore. Spore is broken as fuck. Also, I hope that Electric types can't be Body Slam'd. Because that means that Magnezone hard-counters Jirachi lacking HP Fire or Fire Punch. Nobody actually uses trapping moves anymore. The only trapping threats are Magnet Pull, Shadow Tag, and Arena Trap. If Ghosts can't be caught by those, then that's cool. Except the OU Ghosts like Gengar..... Pretty much only Gengar. They have Levitate, which I don't think allows them to be caught by Arena Trap. I wonder if this means that Ghosts can no longer be hit with Pursuit? Technically it isn't a trapping move, but eh.

So "Frogadier" is something like "gondolier", as in the guy that rows the gondola boats in Venice, Italy. Quilladin. The only thing I can think of is quill - hedgehog. I'm working on deriving the name. Fennekin is like "finnicky", Braixen is like "brazen", which means bold and shameless etc. So we can look forward to Fennekin's final evolution being really stuck up, likely. Froakie's is probably going to have a stache and a brimmed hat.

Yeah I was thinking it could be like an armadillo hedgehog type thing for Chespins stage 3 but idk we'll have to see.

I am thinking that. It's probably not going to stop being rotund. Which is a bit of a disappointment. I liked it with legs.

Anyway, the buff to electric and grass types is pretty huge and I'm sure a lot of people are butthurt over it. I assume it works like fire-types not being able to be burned, so even if a move carries a paralysis chance, it won't work.

Theoretically this means that Electric types can move even when numb, so if you've ever wondered what would happen if Mareep's spine broke, now you know.

I break Mareeps over my knee for fun. I don't know what you're on about. So does this mean that you can fry Blaziken and it will still hit hard?
