Black White 2 Move Tutors
I know this has come up in chat quite a bit when some of us are here but I figured I would make a post about it as well since well, I have no posts on the forum, and because people seemed interested in it when discussing it in chat, and because a thread seems better for this as people not in chat at the time can participate and it means you can look up information and take time posting as well.
Anyway, in Black and White 2 there are new move tutors of course, and they teach the following moves (spoiler tags in case anyone doesn't want to know)
So, how do you think the new move tutors will change the metagame, what new pokemon (if any) do you think will be made viable by the move tutors, what new sets do you think we will see on pokemon, and do you think the move tutors will push any pokemon into ubers (I know a couple mentioned gliscor could be pushed there due to roost + toxic heal).

Re: Black White 2 Move Tutors
A compendium of all the Pokemon and the moves they can learn from the BW2 Tutors. This should shed some light on who gets what.

I'm glad for tons of these changes and they really helped in shaping what I want my in game to be, Seismitoad getting Ice Punch primarily.
Of course my favorte is Magnet Rise on Levitate Tynamo, prefreably with an Air Balloon because you never can be too sure about those pesky ground moves!

I did notice that it seems sun teams will be somewhat stronger with Venusaur (which I notice is popular on them) getting Giga Drain with chlorophyll and growth.
Maybe even the possibility of a more defensive oriented sun team using a sleep talk set though I really don't see that being popular.

Terrakion and Landorus get Stealth Rock making them more viable to use as leads. Tornadus gets priority RestTalk, God have mercy on all our souls.
Re: Black White 2 Move Tutors
Also.. Nidoking getting the punches I think might move him up to OU letting him use a sheer force life orb hone claws physical set with them, giving him actual decent physical attacks with it.
Just adding to things I find of interest and I think people might find good or interesting as I go down the list on the spreadsheet qualna posted (awesome resource btw) is that Ninetales is getting heatwave... not as strong as overheat but doesn't lower it's special attack so that could be nice to use with drought, and pain split for healing/stall type ninetales.

Well, if it's faster, roost will make it so its only 2x week instead of 4x, so that helps a bit there but not much. I honestly don't think it will be ubers just get a couple new movesets

Re: Black White 2 Move Tutors
Nidoking punches or not won't push him to OU because his speed is not enough.
If anything, he can go both spectrums now, one being an immediate wall breaker, the other being a set-up sweeper.

Darmanitan got Superpower. Thats kinda cool. Maybe we'd end up seeing more of him since he wouldn't be walled by BalloonTran.
Volcarona got Roost. That means that Stealth Rocks are going to be more/less useful against it, as it may be able to heal off the damage, but you can also switch a hard-counter in while it roosts.
