Here's a Tyranitar set I used to run and I thought I'd share it with you guys.

128 HP/ 128 ATK / 252 SPD
Jolly/ Leftovers

Taunt
Dragon Dance
Stone Edge
Crunch

It seems like a rusty unreliable set but really you'll be surprised how well it does against some defensive Pokemon. This set can beat Skarmory 1 on 1 thanks to Taunt and allow it to set-up. The set does need support in order to take initiative against Fighting types and Ferrothorn. Dragon Dance obviously rips things and Jolly gives it the edge in speed. With 128 EVS in HP it can take Neutral Special attacks with ease, making Pokemon like Jolteon useless it against you. The HP Evs also help you survive some Earthquakes from certain Pokemon, yet it's recommended to not stay in since Tyranitar would like it's health good when it hasn't set-up yet.

Sure it has it's flaws but with right Support you could get an the advantage against your Opponent

My problem with this is Excadrill walls it outright. I'd almost thing Earthquake would be more valuable than Stone Edge, simply because it prevents Steels from walling you. You get demolished by ConkelDERP as well. I'm almost thinking Chople Berry would be nice on this set. Hell, Tyranitar has the Bulk to make it work.

lolchopleberrytakesonehit. Stone Edge and Crunch won't beat that Fighting Pokemon. A good partner is Slowbro thanks to immense Defense and slow enough to take only neutral Paybacks from Fightings.

I vote that if you are going to have two moves, replace crunch with earthquake. This gives you edgequake and more reliable coverage against most things.

Ah, but then he's walled by Reuniclus. And Flash, thats why I said Earthquake should replace Stone Edge. d: After a DD, you wreck, so it's not like once you take the hit you AREN'T going to kill it. @ Conk.
