    So I was recently digging through my old card boxes and found my "Yubel - The Ultimate Nightmare", Shiny Rayquaza, Rayquaza EX, Regice EX, Aerodactyl EX, and my two Naturia Pineapples, all in mint condition. They are my treasures, among many other things as well. So here's my question.
    Have you ever purchased something that you wanted so badly that you didn't give a shit how much it cost?
    If not, have you ever come across a deal so good that you couldn't pass it up or taken a chance (bought a random pack of cards) and been rewarded full it (pulled a Crush Card Virus)?
    If so, was it for bragging rights only or was it for your own sake/entertainment value?

    I used to go to yard sales a lot. One time I found a huge binder full of old Pokemon cards (mostly holos) for only two dollars. I still use the binder today.

    There's this figure that I wanted that was like....20 bucks, that I didn't have at the time.

    One of my friends at the con bought it and gave it to me. Come to find out later that the figure is worth 200-300 bucks.

    It's more like $300-600 sealed. I was able to score a boxed copy for $13 a long time ago but the box is pretty beat up.

    Ehhhhhhhhh. Last I saw, Ocarina of Time was going for like $3000. Final Fantasy is older than that, I believe. I would put a boxed and sealed copy at about $5000?

    You can get a sealed copy of OoT for less than $1000 easy. But age alone doesn't determine value. While FFI is a lot older than OoT, there's much less demand for it (sealed, at least). I'd say it's less common of a game than OoT overall simply due to sales figures, but demand pretty much determines most of the price and there are far more diehard Zelda fans than Final Fantasy.

    I checked up on Earthbound today and found it was upwards of 800 dollars, and that was without the box. Sealed lowest I saw was 1200.

    Regardless, I have a good snowboard that I think was at least 600 bucks. It was a gift so I don't know the actual price, though.

    Wait what. EB cartridges aren't worth more than ~$150, unless something happened.

    EDIT: I lied, looks like the price has gone up to the $170-200 range, with the highest ones going for about $250. Far from $800 though.
